SDG Hero at UNU Conference 2024
April 25, 2024, UNU Macau AI Conference was hosted successfully. At the "Games and Sustainable Development" sub-forum, Ada Han, leader of SDG Hero project, was invited to share insights and discuss the potential of gamification in SDGs with UN Under-Secretary-General Tshilidzi Marwala.

Global Initiative with UNESCO Chair
2024, SDG Hero launched the "SDG Hero – Sustainable Future" global initiative with UNESCO Chair on Peace Studies. 26 peace-themed game co-creation workshops were conducted globally, reaching 700+ children. They delved into SDG16, explored issues of peace, justice, inclusivity, and reducing conflicts.

UN Coordinator in China Visited Us
November 11, Mr. Siddharth Chatterjee, the United Nations Coordinator in China, visited us and had in-depth discussions on the progress and future development plans. Six children showcaed their game design work "2 Tons" of SDG13 Climate Action, which received recognition from Mr. Siddharth Chatterjee.

SDG Hero Joined the UNGC Pilot Project
2024, with the support of the United Nations Global Compact China-Africa Community Sustainable Development Action Network, we developed localized SDG Hero toolkit for the Goromonzi community of more than 200,000 people to help residents learn about epidemic diseases prevention in a gamified way, including cholera, malaria, influenza, etc.

World Research Travel Conference 2024
Nov 4, 2024, SDG Hero was invited to the 2024 World Research Travel Conference in Malaysia, SDG Hero has garnered widespread attention and love, with participation from local schools and organizations, and has been positively recognized by senior officials, including the former Malaysian minister.

SDG Hero in International Schools
November 13, SDG Hero held a game co-creation workshop for 50 students at Shanghai Hong Qiao International School. They co-created 6 game designs themed on SDG5 gender equality. In fact, there have been more than 2000 children from more than 10 international schools participating in SDG Hero Workshops this year.

SDG Hero: New Insights for Global Entrepreneurs
Aug 18, 2024, young entrepreneurs from 6 countries participated in the SDG Hero Game Co-creation Workshop, and created game proposals themed around SDGs. They have been inspired to combine social responsibility with business, and showcase gamification's potential in social innovation.
